About Crystal Music Studio
Welcome to Crystal Music Studio! Our home-based studio is dedicated to providing quality music education with passionate instructors who love sharing their musical knowledge. We offer private and semi-private piano lessons, both in-studio and at home, designed to help students grow, learn, and create with each note they play. Your child will benefit from experienced music instructors with expertise in piano, flute, music theory, and music history. Read on to discover more about our programs!

Taiwanese-born Canadian musician, Ms. Crystal Yang was raised in a musical family, following in the footsteps of her parents, who are both piano teachers. After receiving her Master’s degree in Music Performance, she worked as an ensemble coach and instrumental instructor at the University of Victoria in B.C. She also worked as a course designer/early childhood music educator at the OceanRain International Arts Academy. After having her own child, she was especially passionate about teaching young children, and went on to receive her 30-hour Orff teacher training program to better enhance her teaching strategy. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, she continues to believe that piano learning should be a fun and inspiring life experience; it is not only helpful in developing one’s musical common sense, but is also the most basic must- have ability to anyone who wants to adventure the world of music!
Ms. Crystal Yang lives and teaches from her home studio in central Calgary, where she enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the neighborhood with her husband and young son.

Welcome to Crystal Music Studio. With over 20 years of training in both organ and piano, Liz provides a professional and engaging environment tailored to the unique needs of each student. Our objective is to foster a lifelong appreciation for music, guiding students to become well-rounded musicians. Ms. Liz is fluent in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, Cantonese, and Hokkien. Ms. Yoyo (In-Home Lesson instructor)
Meet Ms. Yoyo, an energetic and supportive piano teacher with an ABRSM level 8 certificate, equivalent to a level 10 RCM certificate. She is passionate about helping students express themselves through a diverse range of music styles and dynamic performances. With her background as an early childhood educator under the Montessori system, Ms. Yoyo provides tailored guidance to nurture each student's piano skills with patience and structure. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Availability upon request.

Studio Policy
Monthly Flat Rate September - June

Tuition package includes 35 lesson credits per academic year and covers for teaching material, books, recital fees and traveling fees for mobile lessons.

Payments can be made by cash or E-transfer.

Monthly tuition is not refundable
Payments are payable between the 1st of each month and the 1st lesson of each month.
Please add reminders to your calendar or set up monthly auto e-transfers on your end so you will never miss a payment.
Annual Registration Fee $75 per family upon admission.
STUDENT ABSENCES and MAKE-UP LESSON POLICY
Private Lesson cancelation policy: A week notice required to reschedule a class due to planned vacation. Short-notice (within 7 days) due to illness or conflict maybe combined into group make-up classes, held at the studio. Credits forfeited for no-shows.
